             I would say that as long as there are only a few machines, and the
    files are being COPIED to the Macs to be worked on, that machine should be
    just fine. I'd be more worried if they were working on the files directly
    off the server...

             You are already running IPNetRouter, so just use that. I believe
    it has some basic firewalling capabilities.

             You might want to look at Corel Linux (if you want to go this way)
    as it looks and feels VERY much like Windows...
