[WinMac] Cross platform video editing solution

        I'm looking for a cross platform solution for editing videos
in a K-12 school. It doesn't have to be a professional quality from
the hardware side of things, but it does have to have the same
software for both the Mac and the PC version and the PC version has
to work with both NT and 9x.

        Does anyone have any ideas? I can't find anything in our
price range to use for the video capture/output that works with a
software package that is cross platform.
