        Good afternoon, WinMac'ers!

How does a new MacOS product extension sound for an enterprise fax server?

Well, when I downloaded working demos of FaxMaker & FaxMaker for Exchange,
I noticed that there was no explicit support for MacOS clients like there
is for 95/98 & NT clients, i.e. in windoze all you need to do is hit
"Print" from the application and off goes the fax to the destination.

[SIDEBAR: FaxMaker & FaxMaker for Exchange have FREE 5 user licenses for
SoHo users... Download the version you need and give it a try! Punch up:

Soooo, I spoke to Mr. Tom Kucmierz in their US branch in North Carolina
yesterday, and he informed me that he personally had been asking for a Mac
client for 3 years now; but that their corporate headquarters across the
pond in England didn't think there was enough demand...

Next stop, Mr. Nick Galea, who is FaxMaker product manager for GFI. I was
pleasantly surprised at how receptive he was to adding a MacOS client for
his product; and here is where we 900 Mac-NT list members come in.

        Questions for the list:

        1) Do you presently use a network fax server, and if so, which one?

        2) Does the package you use include Mac support?

        3) If the best-of-breed FaxMaker Server included a Mac client, would you
be more inclined to buy it?

Please send to me personally, at the following special email address,
<mailto:expresso@alphant.com> your responses and I'll summarize them for
the list as well as for the fine folks at GFI.

        Cheers!
        Dan Schwartz
