Oh yeah, we love our Fuji! That's why we want to buy a new one. I'm
just not sure if it's worth the extra $14,000 for the 4000 model to make
the larger prints. We may just buy another 3000 model.

A price quote I received yesterday was $7600 for the PG3000 and $21,500
for the PG4000.

Actually I had a few questions about the Pictrography 4000 itself, not
the computer that prints to it. We're using Graphx's RasterPlus on an
NT Workstation to print to the PG3000 and will do the same with the
PG4000. Before we got RasterPlus we had to export an image out of
Photoshop to print to the Fuji so it was well worth the money to buy
RasterPlus. We had been using RasterPlus for years to shoot slides to
our film recorders so when they added support for the Fuji that was
great news. That too of course added the ability to send PostScript
files to the Fuji without ripping them into a raster file first.

So, if anyone actually has a Pictrography 4000 I'd still like to hear
from you.

Thanks!!
