So Curt, how do you know you haven't been unwittingly
passing on viruses to other users for the last eight
years if you've got nothing to detect them on your own
computer? Remember that not all viruses may appear
'destructive' or give any hint they're actually there
on your Mac, but can be passed to others and cause
damage to their Macs and/or PC's.

Christine.
