I found problems with Magic Menu (the True Finder Integration Control
Panel) and OS 8.6 on all my clients (with the particular version
which they were using 5.0, 5.01, 5.02, 5.03). It prevented floppy and
removable discs from mounting on the desktop as well as causing other
crashes. As soon as I removed it from the Control Panel folder, the
problems all went away. When I updated it to version 5.1, TFI started
to work again with no problems at all. I have it installed on all my
own Macs running OS 8.6 and Stuffit Deluxe 5.1.2.

Since version 1, I have found only one other time that Magic Menus
caused a problem. IMHO, I think it's a great product and so is
Stuffit Deluxe.
