[WinMac] VPC 3 & Win 95 MS Network

What are the correct Windows 95 MS Network settings if Virtual PC 3 is set
to share Mac's IP address?

I'm trying to connect to a Ethernet LAN using PowerMacintosh 8600/200,
160MB RAM, MacOS 8.1. (With VPC 2.x I could use separate IP #s and connect
to MS Network just as on a "real" PC and I'm now trying to do the same
using shared IP number).

I have configured TCP/IP on Windows 95 as (translated from Finnish):

Use DHCP as WINS lookup, automatic IP lookup, no router info and DNS
disabled with VPC sharing the Mac IP address.

MS Network control panel is configured as: Register to Windows NT [area
name]; Register and restore network connections.

The trouble is that most of the time MS network can't verify my password
which is OK if I use separate IP #s in VPC. I can see my account from
network neighbourhood but not in "My computer". (Win 95's Telnet and
obviously also other TCP-apps run OK. BTW, at home Telnet runs OK via PPP
dial-up with the previous settings also).

I can connect to my NT account via Network Neighbourhood. However, "My
Computer" still doesn't show it although I have enabled it like I have it
on "real" PCs and Virtual PC's separate IP number mode.

Upon bootup there are error messages:

> C:\WINDOWS>net use s: \\citum\sovellus
>
> "Error 1: Internal error. [Try again etc]
>
> C:\WINDOWS>net use h: /home
>
> "Error 1: Internal error. [Try again etc]
>
> C:\WINDOWS>net time \\citum /SET /y
>
> Error 51: The configured computer doesn't take requests. Make sure that
> the computer's name is right or try again later."

Sometimes there is an error message:

> "None of the servers confirmed your password. It is possiblr that you
> can't use all network resources".

The weird thing is that a couple of times the previous error messages
didn't appear and everything was OK and my account appeared in "My
Computer" icons??!!
