Yeah, actually that's how my Internet Config is setup. JpegView is
the app listed for image files in "File Mappings". But they don't
open in JpegView -- in fact, I don't even think I have JpegView on my
system...everything was just fine before I upgraded to QT 3.

Even though I don't use the Internet on the Macs (this is a PC
campus), I thought I'd try your suggestion. I changed the preferred
app to Photoshop on a couple of my machines, and it made no
difference. The "kind" and icon for image files is still Picture
Viewer.
