[WinMac] windows formatted floppies and Macs

Our site recently purchased a Sony Mavica Digital Camera. The camera uses
a Windows formatted floppy. Our G3 computers (running OS 8) have no
problems seeing and opening the JPEG images-we mostly open them up in Kid
Pix. However, when we attempt to open the images on our Power Mac 5200
(once again, opening them from Kid Pix) machines (which run system software
7.6 and have 40 Meg of RAM and all extensions/control panels are ON) the
computer recongizes the existence of a Windows formatted floppy but it sees
nothing on the disk. My hunch is that the older system software does not
have the capability/tools to work w/ these images. Any suggestions on how
to make our 5200s work successully w/Windows formatted disks and images
from the Sony digital camera? I hope I can prevent having to change the
format of the images on our G3 machines before using the disk on our
5200s-doing this would eliminate one of the major advantages of the Sony
Mavica Camera.

Thanks for your suggestions,
