I know DLT tape drives and tapes are more $$$ than 4mm or 8mm but DLTs
are very fast, very reliable and hold a great wacking lot of data. I
should know, I use both DLT and 8mm. If at all possible go with DLT.
If not, I've had pretty good results with the 8mm though I prefer my
DLT.
