Tim,
This subject was discussed in February. If you look at the winmac
archive under Calendar/Contact Mgmt. Software, you can read the full
discussion.

CanOpener is $65. I can't find any reference to a separate freeware
Text Extractor at the site you cited.

I just got a 300 mHz Mac g3 minitower w/Rev II logic board. Does anyone
have a document which describes all of the connectors on the MB? I can't
find any docs on the Apple site. I am mostly interested in the 3 parallel
connectors on the right side of the board (if the procesor is on the left
side, closest to you) which look like disk connectors.
Thanks!
Ron LaPedis

The biggest one would be the internal SCSI bus, the other two being the IDE
connectors

That would have been my guess too, except that the PCI slots are empty, and
there are 2 hard drives, zip, floppy and CDROM but only 2 of the 3
connectors are in use. The longest one is not in use and I would have
assumed that was for the SCSI CDROM and I thought that the IDE interface
only allowed 2 drives; a master and a slave.

Each IDE bus can have a master and a slave, two buses, two devices each
