This was my original point... how am I supposed to get win9x to work
w/ lpr... a couple of people have forwarded for-pay solutions which I
will look into.

But I think sharing it out to all the pc's w/ Dave will be easier.

Probably. ACITS LPR is free. Amend that _was_ free. Grrr... Until last month,
it was freely available for personal and academic/non-profit use. The home
page for the software says it's free.

http://www.utexas.edu/academic/otl/software/lpr/

But the page for the license says it isn't:

http://www.utexas.edu/academic/otl/forms/LPRSoft.html

Their office of Technology Licensing got into the act and saw a
profit center :-(

Now it's fairly expensive, so take that off the list of alternatives.

I have 2 machines running MacOS 8.5.1 and Excel 98 for Mac. The PB 3400 is
fine, the PM 9500 displays an alert with the heading 'Microsoft Visual
Basic' and the text "Error in loading DLL" when I load a spreadsheet with
macros. Both machines seem to have the identical files in the Microsoft
folders including the system folders. Help!?

Thanks,

This is perhaps an obvious question, but have you tried to do a
reinstall of Office98 on the 9500? Have you installed all the
Office98 updates?

BTW, why aren't you running OS 8.6 on the two machines?
