We create datafiles on WIN95 and Macs, saving the data on an NT server. Some
of the Mac files have custom icons. When I use a WIN95 workstation to copy
from my active area to my archive area, WINDOWS will hang on the invisible
Icon_, claiming it can't be found.

I'm going to experiment with the visibility bit, to see it that's the
problem. Then I'm going to look at the Mac filename and look for a non-WIN
character hiding in the Icon_ filename.

Do you something about this that I don't? :-)

The file that stores custom icons for folders is named=20
"icon<cr>" (where <cr> is the carriage return, ASCII 13).
