For only ten nodes or so on the network, there's really no point in bringing
out the heavy guns of NT or UNIX. You'd really be best off with a G3 running
AppleShare 6.x. It's pretty fast, it's very stable, and handles filesharing
for Win32 clients far, far better than NT handles Mac filesharing.

All that, and it's a breeze to administer.
