For the last 5 years, we've been using NT as a file server for a 93% mac
network. NT doesn't have any problems as long as all you are going to use
it for is file sharing. Just turn on services for Mac and only connect to
it when you need to, and you should be ok. Mac OS X Server is pretty cool,
but we havn't tested the stability on an actual server, we only added to a
desktop machine to see how it would run.

We have approximately 100 computers in the office on a 10 Base-T network,
connecting to the internet via T1.
