In the latest release of Outlook for Macintosh, v8.1, which I just
finished installing on my iMac moments ago, the calendaring component is
installed by default, unlike previous incarnations.

As with the previous version, you can view calendar items across
platforms, but they are read-only.

I've not tested this, but I suspect that forms will work provided that
Office 98 is installed (which includes Visual Basic for Applications)
and as long as the form contains no ActiveX controls (which would be
Wintel-specific binaries).
