If you liked that, you'll love www.macfixit.com a very good web site for
Mac problems. Also run, don't walk, to get Ted Landau's "Sad Macs, Bombs
and other Disasters". A big yellow book filled from cover to cover with
incredible details on almost all Mac models ever made and some very good
(even obscure) troubleshooting tips. The language of the book is very
approachable for begginers and delves deeper for the geeks as well.

(I have no affilitation with the book nor do I get a commision for a
sale, it's just a wonderful resource).
