Look for an application (usually installed in the Apple Extras folder)
called Network Software Selector. On your machines, OS 7.5.3 and 7.5.5
install both OT and classic, but will default to classic. Use this
application to switch between the two networking protocols. If you
decide to stick with OT, then update to 1.1.2.

By the way, you can check to see if OT is installed by using a program
that lets you see invisible files, such as ResEdit. Look for the OT
control panels AppleTalk and TCP/IP in Control Panels folder that are
invisible when you have classic networking selected.
