[WinMac] Dave's Dreadful Documents

Having bought Dave 2 and failed go get it to work yet, in desperation and
frustration I downloaded COPSTalk. I was copying files between my PC and my
Macs, and printing to the Macintoshes' networked printer from the PC in less
than half an hour -- and that's with no documentation!

Before I struggle thru Dave's appaling manual for the hundredth time I'd
like to know if it's actually worth persevering. What do list members think?

I ought to get Dave to work as I have already paid for it, and I understand
it performs file transfers faster then COPSTalk does, _and_ I'd also be able
to see what's on the PC without actually putting on rubber gloves and
touching it.

Are there any non-Thursby resources that guide users thru Dave installation?
I haven't tried their technical support yet -- if it's anything like the
manual it would be easier to try and fix it myself by pecking at random at
the keyboard.

Would having COPSTalk installed on the PC prevent me from using Dave as
well?

Gareth.
