Why do they have a user page in between? You mean a banner page? If it's
an NT separator page, there could be more to the way they are set up.
Autoswitching printers read the header of the document and determine what
laguage it is. Sometimes this doesn't work right and you have to force
them to switch (with a separator page for example).

No. NT print spoolers support binary printing. In fact, the default when
you set up a driver in NT is to leave the data as RAW. This means that
whatever the client sends is what the server will send to the printer. In
this configuration, the NT server will not even touch the code, just act
as a bucket to receive the code you send and forward it to the printer,
doesn't matter id it's PCL, Postscript or Esperanto.

When you set the printers up, did you type in the PRINTER'S IP address of
the NT server's IP address? Make sure you typed in the printer's address,
not the NT server's. You should be able to go straight LPR to the printer
whose LPD daemon will catch the request and process it.
