Oh, yeah, I know (that's what I do now). But I wanted more functionality
out of my TCP/IP stack. It would be nice if I could do all the stuff I
mentioned while still having DAVE turned on or its extensions on.

Also, what about building TCP/IP tools into DAVE? Like WHOIS and TRACERT
and PING, etc.

I know, I know, DAVE is an application that does ONE thing and one thing
well, and if you build too much on it it gets harder to make a really
good product. Still, one can dream.

I presently use IPNetmonitor and lov it. Great troubleshooting tool for
heterogenous networks.
