[WinMac] Insufficient resources

I am connected to an NT network (NT 4 SP 3) via DAVE (2.1) running on a
PowerBook G3 (OS 8.5.1). SFM is not an option for me.

I have had intermittant problems with the Finder going into an endless loop.
When I try, say, to save a word file, every now and then the finder goes
into an endless loop. The mouse can move, but no response from the finder.
Can't even do a force quit The problem seems to be printer related
(printing through NT network to an HP Ljet 4000TN

Same problem whether desktop printing enabled or not.

My temporary workaround is to log into the print server only whn I need to
print - and then to log off (the print server)

I have selected the "general" ppd file - I will try to download the HP ppd
file, but is 7 megs (an overnight job, which failed lsat night)

When I print and am not logged into the print server, I get a dialogue box
"Please log into the server". Once I am logged in,I see a message
"Insufficient resources" and then the file prints ok. What does this
message mean?

Anybody care to comment? Carl from Thursby? (I have logged a help query)

Cheers

Hamish Blair
