2 products claim to be coming out in the next two weeks that will give
serial access to the blue G3s. Griffin Tech's gPort and GeeThree's
Stealth Port. These have different caveats from the USB-serial adapters,
the most obvious that they take up the internal modem slot and only
supply one serial port. However, they claim excellent compatibility with
all serial devices and their software. It appears they mean all serial
devices and software that work on the beige G3s. They claim prices of $59
and 'under $50', respectively.

Part of the problem with these computers is the same as the iMacs face.
They are breaking new ground and everyone else hasn't quite caught up
yet. The best idea is to either buy them and deal with the situation, or
don't buy them.
