RE: [WinMac] Outlook Exchange Mac Client seeing Calendars

No argument that this is not an exact comparison. I wasn't suggesting a
stringent test comparison....only a solution from my perspective. Fact is,
as a Mac user, the Outlook calendar client works fine, and I think it's
better than the PC Outlook calendar client, which is a weak sister in my
view. When I first began using a WinNT machine, I quit using Outlook as a
calendar client after about 4 days. Schedule+ just seems better and more
robust for group use.

Although a few of our users here use their Outlook calendars, those who
really want group scheduling features rely on Schedule+. I'm not saying that
you should do the same, and I'm not suggesting that what Microsoft has done
is good enough. I would much prefer a better Mac client also. But this Mac
client can fully interact with the other clients that we both use. In
effect, I have all the functionality in my situation that you say you're
looking for.

FWIW, I just went to my VPC, opened Outlook 97 [not 98 or 2000] changed my
default calendar client to Outlook, imported my files from Schedule+, and
then tried the same test described in my previous message. Voila! I can see
the Outlook 97 changes in my Mac Outlook calendar client. It could be that
this is a quirky side effect of using VPC, but in any case, it's not the
indictment of the Mac client that was originally suggested on this list.
