        I agree 100%: The x86 platform is a toilet; and USB will (hopefully) bring
SOME semblance of sanity to it. But at least when hot-plugging a scanner
crashed a laptop at a major show, Bill didn't storm off stage: He sort of
laughed!

        [Hmmm... I wonder if the tech who was on stage with Bill joined Jimmy
Hoffa...]

        And that's just one of a litany of reasons why I regard 95/98 as
"windoze!" This keyboard/mouse tidbit I didn't know:
