[WinMac] Incompatibility

Is there any known incompatibility with MacOS 8.0 and the Desktop Printer
Utility? I have a DPU app that was modified by UnipriNT, and the same
version works fine on 8.5.1 and 7.6.1. The machines running 7.6.1 are
StarMax Mac clones, and I was trying to upgrade the StarMax to 8.0 (since
it won't do any higher). I copied the DPU from the G3 running 8.5.1 over
to the StarMax running 8.0, and it still doesn't work. Is this something
unique to 8.0 or StarMax? Thanks -- Jason
