        Good evening, Ben!

Personally, for small LANs I like Eudora Internet Mail Server - For ~20
users, it will easily run on any 32 bit clean Mac - Not only Quadra's but
even all the way back to a 68030-based IIci. with no problem whatsoever.

You may also want to take a look at the "Internet appliance" eMail servers
available: These use simple browser-based admin tools, and typically run on
Linux (so the cost of buying an NT/Server license is removed from the price).

MacWarehouse <www.warehouse.com>, which has branches in Europe, has these
boxes for under US$1000.

In short, you can either recycle an old Mac with EIMS or get a dedicated
"appliance."
