[WinMac] Hang on folder access with Windows NT 4

I hope this is not an annoying repeated question (I did look at the web
site in depth...)

I have a nagging problem :

There are two NT 4 servers running. One a staff server and one a student
server.

Everytime a student attempts to get access to their area (either by using a
folder alias or logging in) the folder comes up and then the G3 Mac just
hangs.

Interestingly if you do an interrupt (cmd-powerkey) and do the old hack of
restarting the finder :
SM0 A9F4
G 0

Access is then fine!

There are no problems with the staff server. the only difference between
the two servers that I can detect (I don't actually look after the server
end) is that only one is doing routing work.

If anyone could tell me or point me to a workaround that would be great.

Anton.
