What is your lease time set to on the NT server? Too long a lease time can
cause the Mac some problems. Ours are set for 3 days, and we see very few
problems. We are finding, however, that most machines do NOT retain their
assigned IP address across a reboot, as they are now "supposed" to under OT
2.0.2.

Most of the IP conflicts we see are caused by WIN95 machines that refuse to
release their IP address after their lease has expired. The DHCP server
gets no request to renew the lease, so it returns it to the "free" pool and
hands it out again. Since the Macs tend to request a new address more
frequently than the PCs (every reboot), they are generally the machines
that get affected by these Win95 boxes.

Updating the offending Win95 boxes to Win 95A (minimally) with the WinSock
2.0 patch seems to fix the problem.
