The simple problem there is that these are a bunch of scientists and
doctors. You say Pantone to them, you get blank looks. In fact that's
probably true for most people on the web. Specing the gamma and saying
they were built on a mac seems to work ok for her case. Except for the
ones that can't understand why it does not come out right on a monitor
displaying 16 or 256 colors! We also do a lot of careful comparison of
how they look at different gammas and color depths. It's easy to switch
gamma around on a mac.
