Blame me for not following the proper > format when
replying to Jarno's questions.

I just moved from a Japanese email client (Becky) to
testing the more mundane Netscape emailer (free)
and I haven't tweaked the client yet.

My hacked OS 8.5.1-J (which should be called 8.5.2-J)
keeps running fine.

FYI, with the latest VPC on the B&W 400 I have just
finished an install of Win95-J (to run an accounting
package) and just to give it a rough benchmark test,
I ran the latest RC5 client and cranked out 252K/sec
which in my experience lands it around a Pentium 200
or definitely better than a Pentium 166. The G3 has
256 MB of RAM with 150 allocated to VPC - for this
test.

The native Mac version turns out 1,260K/sec so there's
of course a bit of penalty for the emulation. Still, fast
enough for the happy accountant who gets to use a Mac
the rest of the time.
