Hello!

I'm experimenting with using NT to seed my Appletalk network. I'm looking
to have NT seed two zones.

        "Test 1" and "Default Zone"

When I set NT up for this it works just fine. In the control Panel I tell
the File server to broadcast in the zone "Test 1" and in the routing panel
I tall NT to make "Default Zone" the default zone.

When I restart I have a message in my event log saying :

"default zone specified was invalid fo adapter 'IEEPRO1'"

Hmpf. Everything seems to work right, butr I have this message. i
searched Technet and found this :

Default Zone specified was invalid for adapter "name".
        [Services for Macintosh (SFM)]

The default zone name exceeded 32 characters. This will occur only
if the zone name was changed by directly accessing the Registry instead of
the Network option in Control Panel.
Change the default zone name so that it is not more than 32
characters.

Last time I checked neither of my zones was more than 32 characters.

Any thoughts ?

Many thanks!

Michael
