No, not true. With a CD created with Joliet naming enabled (I don't know if
CD Creator Pro will do this) it will write 128-character filenames, and the
Mac should read the first 31 characters.

Yes, only Macs burn Mac CDs--WIN just doesn't get it yet. I use Adaptec
Toast on the Mac and burn Mac/ISO Hybrid CDs which handle Mac 31-character
filenames, and yet support the Joliet naming standard of WIN-X. On the Mac,
there are no 8.3 filenames visible anywhere.
