[WinMac] Boot partition size

Hi,
I have a new server with 2 internal 4GB HD's and an external
RAID system.I use 1 HD as a boot drive and will use the 2nd drive
as a broken mirror for emergency boot purposes.
Is 4Gb as a boot partition O.K. as I can create the mirror
and break it but can't boot from it.It tells me it can't
find the \System32\ntoskrnl.exe, the boot.ini seems O.K
I have other servers using almost indentical configurations which work fine
the only difference with this one is it has a 4 gb boot partition,
the others have 1 or2 GB.
Also this morning i had a out of VM error on the server even
though it's got 500mb of ram.

Any ideas would be appreciated,
