I've used TB2 over our 56k connection to Asia and Australia on our WAN
without any problems for transferring files and some limited screen
control. I do lose my connection sometimes with my home modem to office
modem connection but I use it almost everyday. These are Mac to Mac
connections btw although I have used windows machines in other offices in
the US (better than 56k connections) for screen control with no problems.
