[WinMac] QUESTION: Mac/WinNT groupware and accounting systems?

We are a company in a mixed platform environment - a natural state
of being as far as I am concerned - we use Macs, several flavors of
UNIX, and also WinNT.

<no Win9x - we only use products with a future> ;-)

Our business has now grown to the point that I have to plan for a
system with more substantial internal "groupware" type scheduling
and contact management abilities.

Up until now these duties have been handled by single individuals
but now we need a solution that can be shared and added to between
users on Macs as well as NT. The UNIX boxes can be left out of the
equation since those are mostly dedicated servers.

Also, an accounting system that will meet the same requirements is
also needed.

Although I use several platforms myself, I a am staunchly pro-Mac
user interface kind of person so I'd much like to see a solution
that conforms to that school of thought, i.e. not a clunky "buttons
and wizards 'til the cows come home" interface where you can't even
change default settings without personally knowing the programmer
behind the product. I won't mention any companies here...

Since (as most of us know) the Macs cause us by far the least support
grief, a Mac-originated solution would be ideal, but it also has to
run on NT.

FYI, our organization is now expanding to 20 individuals, possibly
up to 30 or even 40 over the next couple of years. I.e. we don't
need, and definitely don't want to pay for, a solution suitable for
a Fortune 500 company ;-)

So, $20K but not $200K solutions are welcome!

I have some ideas but will not preempt your suggestions so I look
forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for your time. m(_)m
