Michael Bolton is addressing cross platform,

What is the dial-in system? A network modem, a Mac running ARA personal
server, a Mac running ARA multi-port server, or some other dial up system?
If you are using the ARA personal server you cannot see the internal
services because ARA personal server cannot cross over information between
the internal network and the dial up network. You have to have ARA
multi-port. other dial-ups may ahve the same problem so check the
documentation of the software to see if this is the problem.
