Ooops, I forgot to mention that NT4 isn't Cutler's baby...

Let me add that after Cutler built the 3.51 version of NT he took his
hands off NT, stayed away from NT4 *completely* and was not part
of the initial NT5 gang although he has joined the team now. I don't
know exactly when he joined - maybe when the project started to
stall?

Rumor has it that NT6 (or maybe NT 7?) is planned to "reintroduce"
the clean break between kernel and GUI that was "lost" when NT 3.51
became NT 4.0.

All of the above is from the NT grapevine and whatever is incorrect
I'd be more than happy to be told about. ;-)

Thank you for your time.

PS
Does anyone have any good suggestions on NT or Mac based telephone
system solutions? We only need a small 4 - 8 line voice mail system and
I'd like to avoid those proprietary $8K - $10K boxes with semi-obsolete
hardware that it seems like the phone system vendors push. Any ideas?
