        Dear Carver,

        In general, you lay down yellow, magenta, cyan, then "kiss" it with black
(to pick up the shadows). This provides for darker colors to trap the
lighter colors.

        Just watch out for three critical settings:

        1) UCR - Under Color Removal;
        2) GCR - Grey Color Replacement;
        3) Total ink coverage, usually not to exceed 300%.
