        If the AppleTalk stack is disabled, then that means that it is no binding
to ANY port... Real (such as ethernet) or "virtual" (such as for
encapsulating AppleTalk packets inside IP packets).

        Also, can be confusing about encapsulating AppleTalk packets inside IP
packets (as used by the IP Tunnelling Extension to Apple Internet Router
3.0.1) and encapsulating IP packets inside AppleTalk packets (when you need
to use LocalTalk wiring, which only supports AppleTalk). Watch out, even I
got confused on this one several years ago! :)
