If you turn off AppleTalk in Chooser or by using Control Strip module that
comes with every Mac OS, there is no AppleTalk at all. It's even enough to
redirect AppleTalk to some other port (for example, if you have TCP/IP on
Ethernet selecting printer port in AppleTalk control panel is enough), but
to be 100% sure just turn AppleTalk off.
