Sue,

My publications department is using Dave 2.1 on two Power Mac G3s. We
also have one cobbled 8500/200 (spare parts, don't ask) running
AppleShare IP to serve this department only. The rest of the company is
on a Windows NT network. Neither my tech writer nor I have experience
problems more serious than a very occassional hang with Dave 2.1, usually
when copying multiple large files to an NT server.

We had to upgrade to Dave 2.1 when one of our programmers installed NT
5.0 (aka 2000) on one of his computers. Dave 2.0 and Win NT 2000 do not
co-exist happily on the same network. The good news is that when we
called Thursby after our programmer installed NT 2000, they had a patch
available, and the 2.1 upgrade two weeks later. That's good service.

Try Dave 2.1. It works for us.
