Happy New Euro,

I didn't get an answer to the below part of a posting before Christmas.
Since the list seems to still be dealing a lot with ethernet and TCP/IP
connections, I will try to rephrase, hope that someone understands my
clumsy explanation and can give me an answer:

What I want to do is the following in a Windows version - connect two or
more computers via ethernet using file sharing access for users, and the
AppleTalk settings set to "Ethernet". Connection takes place by "remote"
computer logging on to server via Chooser or Network Browser as alternative
in OS 8.5 to complete ethernet AppleTalk connection.

The computers are:
1) UMAX Pulsar with OrangePC 660 card running Win 98.
2) PB 1400 (NewerTech G3 225 Mhz. upgrade card) with Global Village
56k/Ethernet modem, running VirtualPC with Win 98.

How do I get the two Win 98's to recognize each other and share files over
the ethernet connection?

Can PC boxes be added to this setup and be recognized at a later point
without running NT?

Please be specific!

Brian

Brought to you by way of a UMAX Pulsar, a Mac OS clone computer. Mine is with an OrangeMicro 660 PC card. The closest thing to CHRP today that runs the Mac OS! Steve Jobs, eat your heart out.
