Netware's support for the Mac sucks in a production environment! That's
why ProSoft Engineering is developing the Netware client for Mac. Sure
it'll cost about $50 a client but it will work properly (for the first
time).

And Novell will require heavy training.

May I suggest an Appleshare server? Version 6.x can handle PCs now and
while not as secure as other platforms, it seems adequate for what you
want.

Appleshare servers are sorely lacking in local security (login in to the
computer where the server is running) but there is a third-party software
out there called On Guard which looks excellent!
