Judging from the responses I received on this, I don't think I made myself
clear on what was going on. The file was originally created and sent,
uncompressed, on a Mac. The machine receiving
the email is the Intergraph running Windows NT. When the file is dowloaded
on the NT machine it is adding the .hqx extension. If we check properties on
the file after downloading it, it shows the .hqx extension. We are not even
to the point where PC exchange would play a part, unless it has something to
do with PC exchange on the mac sending the file? I am assuming there is
something on the NT machine that is telling it to add this extension but I
don't know what. We are using PC MacLan could this have any bearing on it?
Or is it some setting in Outlook Express? I'm so confused:(

Happy Holidays!
