"Additionally, you can use the built-in database to have Name Cleaner append
file name extensions to the "cleaned" files. For instance, if you know that
SimpleText files are type ttro and creator ttxt, you can set up Name Cleaner
so that SimpleText files automatically receive the .txt file name extension.

Of course, you can also use the same system to give DOS, Windows and UNIX
files you've copied to your Mac Mac-friendly names. This includes removing the
file name extension and giving the file type and creator information. Name
Cleaner also has a variety of other options that you may find handy, such as
auto capitalization.

Version 1.9 adds several options, including Office 98 file types."
