RE: [WinMac] Exchange just quits on Performa 630

It's been a few months since I used the MS Exchange client (we've since
moved to MS Outlook), so please take the following suggestion in that
context.

The symptom you describe is often seen when either the application file is
corrupt or a settings or preferences document is bad. Since you've
re-installed the application, it not likely that's still the problem.
Checking my Preferences folder (within the System Folder) I found three
folders which seem to be related to MS Exchange, though it's possible they
came from running MS Outlook. In your situation I would try removing those
folders (Exchange Files, Exchange Help Folder, and Exchange Profiles) and
then re-install. You'll then have to reset your services and any local mail
folder pointers.

You might also try this piecemeal starting with the contents of the Exchange
Profiles folder. It's my guess that those documents would be recreated when
the Exchange Settings app is run again.

BTW, I also found an Exchange Temporary Items folder in my System Folder,
but this seemed to contain several attachments which had been mailed.

Good luck,
