Allow me to generalize that statement...We have found that it is best to
use Adobe's postscript driver for _all_ PostScript printers on both
Win95 and NT. We've experienced a lot fewer problems that we have with a
mix of Windows and HP drivers (Our new Xerox Color printer/copier _came_
with Adobe's driver)

Similarly, on Macs we always use LaserWriter 8 (or whatever the current
version is) rather than the different drivers that come from the
manufacturer. This is mostly HP as that's pretty much all we buy. HP may
fumble on a lot of things, but in my experience their printers have
mostly been bulletproof to a high degree. We have ten year old LaserJet
II's still chugging along, and a LaserJet IIID is one of our main
network printers after more than four.
