You are seeing a PostScript error, which means that your mac is in fact
seeing the printer. My guess is you're using Quark and trying to print
PostScript level 2 or3. Most HP printers, if they support PostScript at
all, only support level 1.

If course I could be wrong. To see if i'm right, try printing from
SimpleText and see if you get the same error. If you do, then I'm way out
in left field somewhere.

Tell your techs not to be afraid of the one-button mouse.
