[WinMac] DAVE vs SFM

Hi all,

I'v e just been playing around with the evalution copy of DAVE and have
a few questions..

Basically, what does DAVE give me that SFM doesn't?

Has anyone set up a network with DAVE that allows a user to sit at any
Mac machine in the workgroup and be treated like they were sitting at
their own, as it does in WinNT. i.e. correct email account opens up,
correct server volumes mounted, desktop settings loaded.... I imagine it
could be done with the help of AppleScript, or would DAVE take care of
all this?

I did a few experimental network copies using to an AppleShare volume,
then to a DAVE mounted volume, and the DAVE volume was slower, this is
contrary to what I read so it made me wonder... what are the actual
speed gains in a "DAVE'd" network when using in a real working
environment.

Does using DAVE eliminate the Dancing Icons bug (which then became the
mis-directed aliases bug) that has been plaguing MAC/NT administrators
for all eternity?

Thanks in advance for any advice

seeya!!!
